Great to hear you find Harry Potter helpful too, Dinah. I am especially moved by the Mirror of Erised ('desire' backwards) when Dumbledore suggests that Harry does not spend his time dreaming of what might have been, and forget to live. I do this so much - from a child I have always found much comfort in fairy stories.
