I have purchased text books and other psych/therapy related books this way before with no problems, but of course, YMMV. You can see how the sellers performance has been rated by Amazon in each listing, and some specifically tell you whether the books' pages are bent, or whether there are any markings, etc.
The $10 - $19 prices are nice - looks like 6 copies being offered right now. Hope this is useful to someone :-) - 10der
