DBT CAN be very good. If you read the intro into Linehans manual for it, she DOES stress that there needs to be consistancy etc. She really lays the groundwork for properly executed DBT in its purest form.
But as SD said, its also used in pieces(modules), and they can be very useful as well.
I did a module, and started another(until I got booted...arrgghhh. Its a long and STUPID story). But it seemed pretty good. I also have used some handouts printed from her manual in therapy.
She's a clever woman and I like how she writes. Seems decent.
