In reply to something nice my T has agreed to do., posted by frida on October 1, 2007, at 9:53:47
One of my cats has been to both T and pdoc with me. (It was not SOP -- the pdoc asked me to bring him, so my T said she wanted to meet him, too.) My T said that she had a client who always brought a cat with her.
In a way, it did feel closer to my T, having my beast with me. I felt more of that soft internal feeling I get from him. On the other hand, in my case, I was also afraid I wouldn't be able to drive if I cried too much, and had him to worry about.
But I'm glad I did it. I hope your GPs work out as well for you. I think it's a nice idea. We used to have a tortie one, years back, called Frederick. (Never pronounced "Fredrick," by the way.) He was sweet, but chewed everything in sight.
