The day was fabulous! I haven't laughed so hard in days!
One of the girls from my work brought some purple and black balloons with a cute over the hill one to match. She bought this mask for me to wear that was hilarious! It was of an old lady with long gray crazy hair. Everyone busted out laughing at me as I paraded around the building with my mask on carrying my balloons! It was a hoot!
I decided to wear my mask to therapy! I sat in the waiting room waiting for my T to come and get me. A couple came in and busted out laughing, their T came out to get them, she looked at me and didn't know if she should laugh or if I was some nut case sitting there!! My T came out to get me and started laughing and didn't know if she should say anything or not? I don't think she knew it was me sitting there. She busted out laughing! She told me to put the mask back on once we got into her office and sat down. She said "I want to see that again, it was just too funny". I had made a sign to wear that said, "ASK ME IF I NEED SOME HELP?" But I tore it and didn't wear it.
Anyway, fifty is great, not really but I had fun with it thanks to my friends at work and my therapist. I told her I didn't know if I dared wear the mask in the waiting room she said, oh yes you did, I know you, you dare!!!
I laughed so hard today, I'm worn out!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I'm old!
