Hi Dinah,
I too just got a pup--a 12 week old Greyhound rescue. I'm not seeing my therapist anymore but if I were I think I would tend to have to agree with you! I think the focus is so on the pup and off our own troubles that it really is therapeutic.
Glad you're having fun with your new fambly member!
