Doesn't matter if you're not feeling yourself, that doesn't make you less of a person in my eyes.
MIL oh my. My T's (yes, both of them) were proud of me when I made my parents stay in a hotel during my graduation. Setting limits or something like that. But my husband was complicit. I'm guessing your husband is not super-helpful in this regard.
Gardening is still better than nothing. What is the most beautiful flower right now? I can't wait until the delphiniums are high. I'm a garden voyeur. My new place has some day lilies, a yucca and some (crap. can't remember the word) of those really hardy roses that are so plentiful all summr long with lovely fragrance. I want to plant some herbs in a little pot on my front stoop. Maybe some basils (dwarf) and some cilantro and some mint, some rosemary and thyme. that way we won't constantly be going to the market when the tomatoes outlast the basil.
Is it too late to plant some container tomatoes? Just wondering.
Well- if the relatives put up a fuss about the state of the house, just roll your eyes towards the husband, like it's all his doing... it kind of is, isn't it? Takes two to keep the household running.
your bud,
-Ll
