To phone T.....or not?

Sigh, this is so ongoing round here isn't it?
My T DID say I can phone 1x/wk to just check in.
But its only MON! and I'll have used my one time!
Goto T on Wed. after Dr. appt.
Guess I'll just wait cuz mebbe later in week I'll need to call.
Its always hard after appt. Kinda like tasting the nectar of the illusion of safety and unconditional acceptance, then having to leave the rest of the bottle behind.
