You have done a great job, Llurpsie. I hope that you are proud of yourself for taking the actions you needed to to keep yourself safe. It is so hard to do that! I'm proud of you.
Getting admitted can be traumatic. It helps if you have someone who can stay with you. It must be awful to do it alone.
I think that what I hear most from your post is that there were real reasons for your crash. And that there are real, concrete things that you can do to feel better. That is empowering and a bit daunting at the same time. But some of these things are fairly simple, but make a big difference (having a safe space). You do have the ability to make things better for yourself - things aren't hopeless.
I discovered art during my first hospitalization. It has been helpful for me for the last 12 years.
I'm so glad you went, and that you learned some things while you were there, and that you are back now.
(((llrrrpp)))
Love,
Falls
