I've never felt any pressure to change my sexuality from parents, or the people around me - they've all been very supportive.

Beneath all the colour, flamboyance and placard waving of the Gay Rights movement this is still the reality for most gay men that I meet, see and read about. I used to go to a gay social/support group a few years ago and I found it depressing. Being in a supposedly supportive environment wasn't uplifting, if anything it highlighted everything that was disordered and dysfunctional about us.

Just An FYI To All Concerned:
Please view Xenutv.com and Xenu.net for an enormous quantity of factual, documented and proven information regarding Scientology and L Ron Hubbard.
Hours and hours of various reading material and also (much easier if youre lazy like me) videos from ex Scientologists (and other videos) who explain in great detail (backed up by legal documents and whatnot)what really goes on and what Scientology is really all about.
Its absolutely fascinating (IMO).
