For me, in addition to trust, it was that she created this safe environment and then she waited patiently for me to figure out that it was safe and that SHE was safe. She encouraged me to talk, but she didn't pressure me. And that has enabled me to tell her things I've never talked to anyone about and trust that she won't leave me or be disgusted or do anything except continue to be there with me every step of the way.

I agree you are very, very close and I will celebrate with you when it comes.
