In reply to CBT etc dogmata, posted by FredPotter on November 15, 2006, at 22:19:34

Sorry I'm late. I've had DBT for anxiety/panic, PTSD, borderline. CBT is a train your thoughts technique, right?

I've just heard that some peeps think DBT is better than CBT.

Can anyone share a CBT skill for coping w/ 'mental unhappiness in many forms' that doesn't involve telling yourself, "IAMSPECIAL" (UGH!), or breathing exercises until hyperventilate, or meditation?

(Yep, see the dogma u speak of FredPotter.)

badgirl, cf
