I'm so glad that she came. How special! It's such a tough surgery and recovery, you need all the support one can muster. I know you have been with your therapist for many years. I'm glad she stepped outside her box and reached out to you.
Who cares who has the nicest house? It's not about that at all. At the end of the day, what is most important is how you live your life, what's in your heart. Some people with the nicest houses and fancy lives are the most miserable people (and visa versa).
I mentioned before that my next door neighbor had the same surgery (both knees) last spring. He is doing so much better. I remember at the time he has the hardest time sleeping at night. Are you able to sleep? rest?
Thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery.
It's good to have a goal too. I hope your daughter takes you to your appointment after the Thanksgiving holiday.
