Oh Susan, I'm sorry you are feeling so low. It is called state dependent learning. If you are in a certain emotional state then you are better able to remember all the times in the past when you have been in the same emotional state. When you feel happy you remember all the good times... But when you feel bad you remember all the bad times. And it starts to seem as though... The world always feels that way.
It doesn't Susan. But it can be hard to remember the good times. It can be hard to remember the good feelings. It can be hard to remember that the world doesn't always seem this way.
How is therapy going Susan?
Are you maybe numbing out because things have been a bit painful / hard? I don't know.
Take extra special care of yourself right now. Long bubblebath with a good book and some candles... A massage... Something nice for you.
I'm sorry you are feeling so sad :-(
I'll hold you for a bit and stroke your hair if it would help.
There there Susan
Life won't always feel this way
You are a wonderful, caring, loving, bubbly, vibrant person
And you are deep too Susan
Hang in there
Babblers will come and hold your hand.
You aren't alone.
