My life is truly wonderful

Posted by crushedout on September 5, 2006, at 11:18:57

Things are going really well for me and I'm very happy right now. The list of wonderful things in my life is so long that I don't even know if I can remember them all:

1. I'm in a really healthy relationship with a very sweet woman and I think it could really be something lasting. We've only been dating for six weeks but it feels very solid.

2. I love my job and I feel respected and appreciated at work. I work very few hours and I call all the shots and I love it that way.

3. I'm making a nice living and feel very comfortable in terms of money.

4. I have a bunch of great friends whom I see often and whom I'm always happy to see and vice versa.

5. I drink and smoke pot in moderation as opposed to all the time as I was doing recently (this is kind of a miracle).

6. I don't feel anxious or depressed! I don't understand why but it's gone away. Things that stressed me out enormously before just don't anymore and I'm usually happy to be alive.

Finally: 7. Therapy is really good. Last week I was telling my T how happy I've been and at the end of the session she just paused and exclaimed, "How nice!" I felt she was really happy for me and it felt so good.

I don't know what to make of it all or how my life turned around so much so fast but I'm really enjoying it and I don't see any reason why it can't last.

I hope this doesn't make anyone nauseated. If it makes you feel any better I was very miserable for a very long time.

Hugs to everyone.
