Well, I kind of not suggested it exactly. I asked him if he had my contact number on hand, in something he'd be sure to evacuate with. I was thinking he'd bring his address book or client list.
Then he took out his phone and entered the information there and then. :)
I'm trying to convince myself that if he then goes and does it for all of his clients, at least it was *because* of me.
I do think it was nice of him to reassure me, and the way he did it made me feel very cared about, and like he took it seriously or it was important to him as well.
I can't speak for the world in general, but I like having positive things to associate with a negative date. So now on the Katrina anniversary which is bound to be big around here every year for a long while, I can remind myself that something good also came on that date. It was the day Annierose's son was born!
