I certainly agree with you. I would have been devastated if my T didn't do everything possible to be with me on that day, let alone give me an appointment one of the days in the week. You are certainly so right on expecting it from your T after having seen her for this long, and considering the risk for your child.
I am really so sorry about your child too. What bad luck. I wish he/she would come out of the surgery fine. Please hang in there. You can talk about how it is making you feel here too.. and we will do everything possible to get you through the surgery and through this difficult time.
Please post here as often as you wish. It really is a terrible thing to watch your child go through a surgery. It isn't fair. But I know one couple who had their infant go through a heart surgery barely 10 days after he was born, and God they were so terrified at that time, and none of us thought he would make it through, but then, he is today a very healthy and happy child.
My prayers and thoughts are definitely with you. I will say a special prayer for your kid.
