I got my CBT therapist through his online ad, complete with photo (accurate).
I think that's actually better than simply getting a referral — assuming the ads give a lot of accurate information about what the T offers, prices, specialty, experience, etc.
The portraits in the ads, though, feel a little weird. They're like "I look compassionate!" or something.
