Hmmm.. I've referred to it as DBT so long now...
I think it's Dialectic Behavior Therapy, originated by Marsha Linehan, which combines cognitive behavior concepts with Eastern philosophy, particularly with radical acceptance. She found that a subset of clients don't react well to strict cognitive behavior therapy, and do better with a therapy that accepts them as they are while also attempting to induce life enhancing changes. Which is contradictory, hence the dialectics aspect of the therapy.
Or I may be completely off. It's been a while.
