Nightmare .. any help, how to explain it?

Posted by susan47 on April 13, 2006, at 10:36:37

Spine-chilling dream came around five this morning and hung around until seven-thirty or so, that's how it seemed, every time I woke to turn it was with me and it would start at or near the beginning again, then play to conclusion and each time it would be slightly different, I'd have changed some dynamic. And I'm having a terribly difficult time remembering it, I think I must have subconsciously been so horrified by the contents that I blacked out some of it, which I think is how we HAVE to have to HAVE to do it to survive the day ahead .. now speaking of that, even though it's physically more real, I have to say that the waking day seems less real, in fact, than the dreaming state, which is unbelievably awesome and overwhelming in it's emotional reality, which just seems stronger somehow, than the physical one .. anyone relate to that?
THe dream I would like to remember later, have to take my daughter to the doctor now but would love to come back later and tell the dream, try to remember it. I'm going to take it with me today if I can. Try to remember. Last year I had some wonderful help from you guys, and I printed the dream post off and replies and even today it helps me to go back and read it all.. so thanks, everybody who's here, everybody who reads, and responds ...
