Oh Absolutely youcan send it to him.
I know that therapist grieve as much as we do when patients are terminated or move on.
He will probably really appreciate hearing from you periodically.
This was a loss for him too, but as long as appropriate boundaries are maintained, you two can still communicate in a meaningful way.
At least, that's what my T promises me if I ever quit therapy (which is unlikely in the next decade).
