Some crocuses are peeking out from the cover of snow. They make a little patch of snow melt where their colours provide a relief from the whiteness.
The air is cold but has a whiff of water underneath. Like it is considering what it would be like if the snow would start to melt.
I would dress in many layers, so we can peel off what we need to as we warm up while we tramp through the snow.
