art class conversation

I remember in sixth or seventh grade (about 12 years old) on art days, the whole class would be working quietly at our individual projects, but we would also be having a very easy, quiet conversation with the whole class. We even remarked about it at the time. I vividly remember one chum saying to the whole class, "Isn't it weird that we always talk like this on art days?"
