Hey HF...
I'm planning to reply to your elephant post! I wanted to think about it a little bit first (and step back from my feelings about my own T).
My initial response to you is.... WELL DONE! You are very brave. I am trying to imagine the courage that took. I stand in awe...
I think your T said some really sweet things, and I'm really pleased for you that he handled it so well.
I'll reply properly tomorrow when I've had a chance to engage my brain a bit more.
