yeah, like waves
waves of intensity
ebb and flow
it can feel a bit frightening sometimes
when emotions are intense
sometimes i think i'm going to die
but there is an ebb and flow
and at each moment...
even when the intensity is the worst...
you are still there
you are not your emotion
there is more to you than that
and the other parts of you
are okay
you are okay
and the intensity will lessen off in the next instant
ebb and flowbut yeah, it can be hard
remember to be kind to yourself when things are rough
sometimes that can be the hardest thing :-(
but sometimes i think that those hugs that we give ourselves
help quite a bit
