Loneliness and mental health

Posted by orchid on September 26, 2005, at 19:04:52

Something that struck me recently, is, I am 100 times much happier when I have people around me. I don't even have to talk, but just having people constantly around makes me so much more resilient and happier.

I feel completely fine, healthy, and don't ruminate, or go off into unwanted thoughts, or over analyze, or do too much of introspection.

The problem these days here is too much of loneliness in the name of privacy. If we eliminate that, then I think most of the problems will disappear.

So a tiny suggestion - socialize with lot more people and talk to everyone and anyone. Don't isolate. It makes us much happier and healthier.
