I was browsing amazon, after i'd gotten a book i needed for a class, and happened on a book i thought you might find interesting, actually i thought the author was interesting. his name is donald kalsched, and the book is "The Inner World of Trauma" it's about what happens when someone is severely abused, and the process of dissociation. i also did a google search since this man is an analyst, and is still alive and seems to have a good grasp on the subject. of course there are other analysts that come up when you do a search for him. hope this is helpful. also, if you go to the link for the book, you can read a bit in the book on amazon.
