I just sent one today... but actually, for me the hard part was at the beginning... "Dear Dr. T," ???
I guess I never address her by name so there's no verbal precedent of whether to use a first name or something more formal.
I ended up trying to cover all the bases by using a formal salutation then making a joke about it in a P.S.
