Are you in therapy that is using exposure therapy? Or are you trying to do it on your own?
I did a lot of research on emetophobia, and exposure treatment for it. The majority of people found that exposure treatment made their emetophobia worse, especially if it was done in a heavy handed way.
CBT offers a lot in the way of anxiety reduction techniques - breathing, grounding, etc. Once you've really mastered those, exposure therapy might go more smoothly.
