How do you explain SI to a new therapist or p-doc? I cut my wrists/arms, not horribly, but badly enough that you can see obvious scars. I'm so self conscious of this, and think I would just die if asked. I have a feeling the p-doc will notice because I have to sign form for him after every appt. He hands them to me, I have to hand them back.
Anyway, this was 20 years ago, a one time thing on both arms, done in anger. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I'm seeing a plastic surgeon in Sept. to see if they can do anything. The last PS I went to was so horrfied that I never went back.
