hmmmm.. how can you afford every day therapy? Won't it be too much??
One suggestion I have is, apart from this babble board, start developing more real life friends. That is what helps people in India,,nobody goes to therapy as such, but people usually have 100s of people who care about them and are willing to talk to them, and help out, and everyone has a huge social network. That is why inspite of so many issues, people maintain a fairly good mental health. My family was little peculiar, my dad only used to talk to everyone, and me or my mom were always kept aloof, but that is why my dad still manages to be happy, and me and my mom suffering.
Talking to people helps - A LOT. That is why therapy works. And if therapy is not affordable, never underestimate the power of healing from real life friends and family and society. IT is one thing that lacks hugely in the US.
