Hi, I had a series of EMDR sessions about a year ago, and they helped me tremendously. I had some PTSD from an 18-year marriage that wouldn't get in the past where it belonged, and this process allowed me to come to terms with my experiences, and go forward in my life.

I also used the treatment for addressing performance anxiety at work. It helped at the time but now it would appear that my anxieties run more rampantly than just at the office.
And as an aside, it was NOT helpful in addressing my alcoholism but instead made my anxieties about that issue worse! (Shudder.)
