Did they give a reason? Is there an appeal process?
You are such a wonderful person. And I can't imagine denying the world your even greater potential.
Just because they said no, doesn't mean that you can't be helped. It doesn't mean that it isn't "worth" it to help you. Don't let them give that message to you. It means that they are caught up in their little world of numbers and rules, and your round peg doesn't fit into their square hole.
You are resourceful. Try to think outside the box. It is worth it. You are worth it.
