Growth and learning can be painful. As scared as you are, I think this is an opportunity for you. Please take it really slowly. Let your therapist help. Let me help. Let Babble help. Tell your IRL friends that this is one of those days when you need a hug (and a little protection - at least your work thorn is gone now, so you don't have to worry about her!).
Eat COW (bring a package to work with you, so you can have some there).
Your feelings are *so* justified. You have come by them *so* honestly. But they are a bit of a shock to you, I know that. And your life feels a bit out of control (and we know how much you **love** that feeling!).
Don't you hate these "therapeutic opportunities"?
