Sorry, I forgot to say welcome.
Welcome :-)Basically the idea is that people discuss medications on the main babble board. There you are likely to hear about peoples experiences (both positive and negative) with medications. If you want that kind of info then that is the place to post.
The alternatives board is about what other kinds of things may help with the symptoms people are struggling with. St Johns wort for depression and stuff like that.
The psychology board typically deals with psychotherapy or techniques typically taught in therapy (does that seem right peoples??)
If you decide you may have an addiction to a drug / medication then the substance board would be appropriate.
And if you are worried about withdrawal symptoms then there is a board for that as well.
If you aren't sure which of the above you want (or if you just want lots of suggestions) then the best place to post it may well be the social board (so that you get a variety of perspectives).
If you think that is confusing then I have sympathy.
