Therapist sightings are tricky for therapists if they haven't discussed it first. My therapist has discussed it with me a few times, since he keeps forgetting. I think they're encouraged not to acknowledge them in any way without previous permission, so as not to bend confidentiality.
I hate seeing my therapist outside the sacred space of the therapy office. I don't long for him, I flee. I only want to see him where he's the him I know, and I'm the me he cares about.
