I'm glad this went well!
When I "told" about a similar dream, the male T said, "actually that's kind of flattering" along with other neutral psychological stuff.
In retrospect, that was a poor response for him to choose, even if he was just feeling awkward and trying to be funny. Those kinds of comments can certainly fuel a transference.
You don't want the person to be repulsed, but you don't want the person to be flattered either. (Well ok maybe you do, but you don't want to actually hear that.)
