First off -- I am absolutely astounded that you are able recall your dreams to vividly.
Secondly -- since you are so capable of this, you really need to look into lucid dreaming! (Feel free to email me for more information and links regarding this matthew.warner@pcc.edu )
Most psychologist's will tell you that dreams are an outpouring of our 'emotional tank' that we don't cognitively cope with throughout the day.
What I can derive from this dream:
A) You likely needed to pee, apparently not badly enough to wake you however =)
B) Your husband must recently have demonstrated either emotional or physical 'strength.' Thusly leading you to have him demonstrate that he really *can* do 'that.' (Strength and That are open to your interpretation of what those skills are.)
C) You recognize that nothing is perfect, even an airport wall. With its subtle differences in texture you took it upon yourself to 'adapt' to each 'variation' and 'fix' each flaw. (The adaptation could be a small outlet of a larger situation in your life that feel you aren't in control of -- but this could be a small facet of your subconcious desire to adapt to this in question...)
D) Almost certain the 'familiarity' between the airport employee (Especially since you made note of her being younger) reflects feelings of inadequacy regarding your relationship with your husband. Don't belittle this minor detail of the dream -- I would infact, recommend that if nothing else you bring up this detail with your current T. IMO this subtle detail semi-summates the entire dream.
For all -- I am merely a sophmore level psychology/philosophy student and have no credentials what-so-ever! So take my interpretation for what it is worth; not much!I definately enjoyed reading through this dream, please email me directly or at least continue to post your dreams here! I would love to have some insight into how you are able to recall your dreams with such detail!
Thanks again for posting this! This topic is very fascinating to me so please, please, PLEASE don't hesitate to post more!!
Sincerely,
Matt Warner
