workplace mobbing

Posted by Fred23 on November 29, 2004, at 18:33:44

An article about the phenomenon of "workplace mobbing" caught my eye recently. This is where co-workers use psychological bullying to make things so uncomfortable for the targeted worker that they quit, have a nervous breakdown, or worse.

This is differenent than the toxic workplace that is not directed at someone in particlular, but where a co-worker is targeted for this treatement, and efforts are made to conceal the reality of it.

The link http://members.dodo.net.au/~shallcross/index.html is a good starting point.

(I wonder how many need meds to cope with this?)
