My job has and still is suffering enormously due to my depression. I have been with my company for almost 8 years and the first time I suffered a total breakdown, I went through 6 months of on and off, mostly off, working. Eventually they told me job or depression and I chose job. So I *forced* myself to recover. Now I am sitting at work day after day, unable to concentrate, unable to get motivated, unable to want to be here, unable to like being here. My solace is the internet. The only reason I am still at work. And they still have the confidence to send me on a course in two weeks time? Actually, it's all new manangement and I hope my personnel file got lost with the old management.

Point being, however, that yes, my job has suffered and continues to because of being depressed.

Susan - I envy you.
