Music Transporting

I am listening to a station of 70's music right now. Whenever I do that, the familiar tunes send me right back to the age I was a that time. It is incredible.....but also depressing because it only reminds me that I didn't make anything of myself since all that long time ago.
However, it is so calming to hear the old songs I grew up with. Funny how you can remember some of the verses, even after not having heard those songs since.....well, the 70's!! Lol!
Listening too long makes me sad, though. What happened to the girl I was in the 70's? Look at what kind of life I've given her. To do it all over again, huh? I liked that girl from the 70's. She had her whole life in front of her. I've failed her massively.
But I like going back. I like to feel like that girl again....
Although I crash when I come back to the 21st century.
