It seems that when there are several triggers at the same time, chance for getting a migraine is greatest.
So if there is emotional stress, crying (a huge trigger for some), maybe not drinking any water for the hour, bright light, also feeling physically stressed and maybe not sleeping well the night before ... that sure could be a recipe for migraine.One of the things that can be most helpful is to drink lots of water. It can really make a difference for me at times.
I go to a wonderful migraine site, though few there will have heard of EMDR
