I am one of those poor souls that can't pass up a debate, especially if it is backed up by science. I have to remind myself constantly that it can seem contentious to others - so if I've done that to you I am truly sorry.
But you are exactly right here. Therapy is such an inexact science (an art, actually) that no one person can say what is appropriate for another.
And I certainly see what you are saying about disclosure. Discussing your own personal therapy is as scary as revealing a sexual problem. It takes great strength to do that, and for that strength I thank you.
