Can anyone direct me to an easy explanation of the different therapy models? I have a basic understanding, I think, of CBT, and have heard a lot of other names that sound like I would be able to figure them out, but I'd like to learn more in the hopes of finding what I need, and what I should be looking for.
Bonus points if there's a nice, easy to understand chart showing techniques, comparisons, etc, which is not advocating a specific model. Most of what I've found on my own has been focussed towards one or another model, and implies that the others don't work as well. I know that some forms work better than others for specific problems, but if you've read anything I've written, you know that I am especially sensitive to anything that I think implies "one size fits all."
Thanks!
