well, hello...you are in good company...are you medicated and/or seeing a therapist? there is a long road ahead but the good news is that eventually you will find the right ``cocktail'' that will set yoou straight....sad is very real and is mainly attributable to where you live and the amount of sunlight you take in per diem. outside of denver, san diego, and austin, you are going to have to deal with it. light therapy seems to be indicated in alleviating sad...your bipolar dx and borderline personality disorder are likely to be intermingled: if you tend toward the hypomanic side or are in a mixed state, then it is highly probable that the borderline dx is manifesting itself as such. and btw, do not take the personality disorders too seriously: they are dx for lack of insight from your doctor. check out the dsm-iv tr for criteria, and you will see that you - and all of us - can be labelled in any number of personality disorders. if you are angry, antisocial, and miffed about your dx, then join the club... best, chemist
> I'm new to the board too. My name is Tyagua and I was diagnosed bipolar (3ys ago) S.A.D. and PTSD and now I apparently have a borderline personality. I'm fed up, pissed off and need people to talk to who know what they're talking about!
> You'll see me around I have a decent amount of free time.
