> You know, I HAVE HEARD this song but I don't think I ever REALLY listened to the words. It does rock...wow I am rediscovering Joel..I liked him back when he did like Virgina and Big shot and all....then I stopped listening to him...maybe piano man did that to me...Way nice song and I saw that other one someone posted on their T..but no sample...next trip to get music..add Joel I see.....thanks :)

With 'Stranger' it's really just the words that blow me away, not the tune...I guess because it's not that frequent but wow, have I "seen the stranger" in MYSELF in relationships at times! I'm all over the place with the older stuff, much of it not THAT old but some even older. From Johnny Mathis, Etta James and Natalie Cole; to Enya, K.D. Lang and Harry Connick Jr.; to Bob Marley, the Jayhawks, Cracker and The The; to Beck, the Smiths and Collective Soul; to Alice in Chains, Live, Soundgarden, even Nine Inch Nails ('Head Like a Hole' EP)... Oh and I *love* 80s rock too, techno and regular; and lots of "urban" dance and soul music of course... Don't get me started!!!

Hey, have you heard of a band called Poi Dog Pondering? Depends where you are, either "Hell yes" or "huh??" Anyway get the 2 CD set called 'Liquid White Lightning' -- just *do* it!!! It's all kinds of music rolled into one, very soulful yet energizing. Also here's one you might have a hard time finding but from what you've said I know you'd adore it too --'Fireflies' by Ruby Grass (no, not country). Then come back here and thank me -- you will, I promise!
