Hi.
Well the reason I'm doing this post is I've been doing CBT with my therapist for awhile now and just last week he set the homework assignment task of "After Hours Therapist". I googled it (because I feel I need to be in control of who, what, when, why and that he didn't explain it good enough to me) and I was wondering if anyone here knows about it or has done it themselves and what their expereinces were like.
I'm just in abit of a pickle about it because I feel as though I can only ramble on and when it comes to actually "being" the therapist...I'm just agreeing with myself and not thinking logical enough. Heck, thats the whole point I guess.
But I'm just curious about other people's experiences. Also, the session that he brought it up in was a really bad one. There was another psychologist in the room supposedly asessing him not me and I felt really uncomfortable about this.
Anywho, if anyones got abit of advice or some stories to share let me know.
Thanks. You're all great people in here.
luv,
