Hey hun!! I know what you're going through, as I assume we all feel like we are bothering our T's and being needy.

You are supposed to call for appointments. So, maybe he was just extremely busy, and thta's why he didn't get back right away. It hurts to think you aren't their Top Priority. I often call my T now after a session to tell him I didn't like what he said, but didn't realize he said it until after the session ( are you following this?)... And I feel like I'm a pain and bothering him too. But, he talks to me and explains what he said in a different way, so as to not "hurt my feelings or leave room for errors." So, I know I'm not bothering him, as he would be honest and tell me...

So, don't feel like a "bother or pain." We call our T's and sometimes they are busy and can't get back right away. It happens to the best of us (as you see I AM THE BEST ONE HERE, other than you of course :))

If he doesn't respond again in a timely manner, let him know that you are feeling a bit abandoned, or hurt, or whtaever you feel.. It could be condusive to your regular therapy sessions. I feel that sometimes even regular telephone calls mean or say something about me, as I'm sure he's taking notes ...

Please don't feel like a bother. You needed to get ahold of him. He wasn't so reseptive because he was busy at the time. It doesn't mean he "thinks any less of you." It just means he was overworked......
