Changing therapists and anticipating meeting a new therapist is a very anxiety-producing situation, whatever the reasons, and it's understandable that you are concerned about consensus on the treatment plan and that you want to know that the people responsible for your treatment are working together with you. In these kinds of stressful situations, people use the kind of strategies that they are accustomed to, like trying to maintain control in the way you describe. I think the most meaningful treatment plan will be between you and your therapist, whom you will not meet until next week. It might make sense to discuss this with the therapist when you meet him or her because the most meaningful treatment plan, whether implicit or explicit, will be with your therapist. Once you've met the therapist and had an opportunity to get to know him or her, you may have a better idea of whether such a meeting would be helpful to you.
