I'm sorry you had a tough session.
Correct me if I'm way off base, here, but it sounds like you think your therapist was telling you to take responsibility for all of your problems when perhaps she was suggesting that you take responsibility of your feelings and actions in regards to those problems. I'm just now starting to realize that while there are a lot of things I can't control, I can control how I react to those things. Maybe she just wants to help you learn the skills necessary for coping with the bad stuff.
Just my thoughts. I hope your week turns around and that you can work through this in your next session.
